The National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), founded in1901, is a national trade association dedicated to representing, promoting and advancing the interests of the electrical contracting industry.  NECA is an extension of you.  It’s that extra employee on your payroll that looks out for your interests.

NECA is composed of a National Headquarters, 4 Regional Offices, 10 Districts and 128 Chapters.  NECA policy is set by its members who act through a Board of Governors.  The Board of Governors consists of an elected member from each Chapter, the Association President, a Vice President from each District and a Vice President at Large.  Policies and programs established by the Board of Governors are carried out by the Executive Committee through NECA Offices and Staff.  Each local chapter is an independent affiliate of NECA.

LABOR RELATIONS

We enhance the market position of signatory contractors by negotiating the most competitive terms in both local and national agreements.  NECA is the vehicle for contractor participation in all aspects of labor relations.

The National Convention and Exposition provides you with the latest in products and services, affords you the opportunity to meet with the other top contractors, and offers educational seminars of superior quality.

EASTERN REGIONAL MEETING

Every Spring NECA contractors from the northeastern region of the United States gather for a convention.  This is a unique opportunity to exchange ideas with the other contractors, and participate in interesting business sessions and educational forums.  A variety of social events are planned for your pleasure.

GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS

NECA monitors all federal and state legislation to make certain that the best interests of NECA contractors are represented.
